Camilla Bassett-Smith

Camilla is a Television Horticulturist. She is a regular face on ITV’s ‘Love Your Weekend’ where she has been presenting pieces alongside Alan Titchmarsh since 2020. She also appeared on screen in the primetime ITV series ‘Spring Into Summer’. Camilla graduated from Pershore College of Horticulture in 2000 (where Chris Beardshaw was one of her tutors) and she is now a member of The RHS Bulb Committee, regularly sitting on forums for RHS trials of tulips and other spring bulbs. Bulbs are a real passion of Camilla’s and she occupies the role of Editor for both ‘The Daffodil Society’ & The RHS Daffodil, Snowdrop & Tulip Yearbook. Starting off in radio presentation, she moved to gardening television where she has over 13 years’ experience. Horticultural Specialist – RHS Chelsea Flower Show BBC coverage 2017-2022. Assistant Producer – ‘Love Your Weekend’ (ITV) ‘The Big Allotment Challenge’ (BBC) and ‘Great British Garden Revival’ (BBC), Horticultural Producer – ‘Inside Out Homes’ (C4) and ‘The Big Flower Fight’ (Netflix) and Horticultural Consultant on Marcus Wareing’s ‘Tales from a Kitchen Garden’ (BBC). Camilla has written for The Daily Mail, The RHS Garden Magazine, Live24Seven Magazine & Suttons online, she is also a judge for South West in Bloom.
